With great pomp and splendor: the introduction of the Sabbath to the Chabad house in Karlsruhe, Germany

This week, for the first time in history in the city of Karlsruhe in Germany, the Knesset of a Torah scroll written by Rabbi Yehezkel HaCohen Reichman was celebrated with great pomp and splendor, which was placed in a Chabad house in the city under the direction of the apostle Rabbi Mordechai Mendelson.

The celebration was attended by hundreds of the city’s residents and Jews, Rabbi Schlesinger, Rabbi of Strasbourg, many emissaries, the mayor Dr. Mantrop, the Attorney General of Germany Dr. Frank, the emissary Rabbi Shneur Trevnik and more.

After the letters were finished in the city palace, everyone went to a procession on the main street of the city to the Beit Chabad synagogue, the evening was enjoyed by Yishai Lapidot and the musician David Nachshon

The new Torah book was donated by the Reichman family and the Jews of the city, in honor of the soul of the apostolic father Mrs. Mendelsohn and Rabbi Yehezkel Reichman of Tel Aviv.
