With Halloween, hundreds of jobs to be filled in the amusement parks of the Oise

by time news

For Halloween, the Oise amusement parks are stepping up their efforts to recruit seasonal workers, in order to ensure the smooth running of this crucial period. Whether at Parc Astérix (Plailly), Mer de sable (Ermenonville) and Parc Saint-Paul, hundreds of positions are still to be filled. With a year 2022 which exceeds records in terms of attendance, a question still torments professionals, while the All Saints holidays are fast approaching: will they have enough employees to ensure the proper functioning of leisure sites?

Among the Gauls, 250 positions are still to be filled during the All Saints holidays. And to attract people, two job datings are organized on Saturdays October 8 and 15, 2022, in the administrative building of Parc Astérix, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“A hell of a challenge”

Catering employee, shop assistant, kitchen clerk, waiter or receptionist, the profiles sought are very diverse. No particular “qualification” or “experience” required, just bring your CV, identity card and a good dose of motivation. Positions to be filled from October 22 to November 6, 2022, with the possibility of a contract extension until January 1, 2023 to cover the Christmas festivities.

With a 20% increase in admissions compared to 2019 – the last before the Covid, the Mer de sable is also preparing to receive many families during the All Saints holidays. Except that the staff is still lacking. “It’s quite a challenge to recruit, because the students are not on vacation the first week of All Saints, only the second,” explains Antoine Lacarrière, director of the park. From attraction animation to sales, through catering and cleaning service, many positions are offered. And which do not require, like Parc Astérix, qualification. Here, it is “skills and motivation” that are privileged.

And for the inhabitants of the west of Oise and Val-d’Oise looking for a job: the Saint-Paul park is also hiring. “At this time of All Saints, we have between 50 and 100 people a day who work on site, specifies Gilles Campion, director of the Saint-Paul park. So we approach seasonal workers locally. »
