The delegation of the Football Association will leave for Morocco on Sunday to meet with the heads of the Moroccan Association, and sign broad cooperation agreements in various fields with the association in the country. Among other things, agreements will be signed for professional conferences, the existence of training camps in the special facility of the Moroccans, professional conferences, and even studies on the revolution in women’s soccer that they led.
On the other hand, Moroccans are interested in the world of technology and innovation in Israel. Among other things, it is about having a game between the senior teams, when in light of the fact that the Moroccans have a good chance of qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar, it is still unclear when it will be possible to have such a game. The dates are being checked to allow for a meeting between the teams soon.
Joining the delegation that will travel, among others, is the chairman of the Football Association, Oren Hasson, the association’s CEO, Yossi Sharabi, the vice president, Avi Levy, who has been leading the process with the Moroccans in recent months, the association’s vice president, Ronen Hershko. Also joining the delegation are the coach of the young team, Alon Hazan, and a member of the board and chairman of Betar Jerusalem, Eli Ohana.
By the way, the Moroccans finance most of the expenses of the Israeli delegation, which will stay in Morocco for the first and second time. Later this week, a meeting will be held between the heads of the association and the UEFA regarding the strategic plan of the Football Association in recent years, when the UEFA is supposed to approve it and give financial grants to the Football Association.
