Düsseldorf The bad news from the real estate industry does not stop: The project developer Interboden from Ratingen near Düsseldorf has got into financial difficulties. According to information from the Handelsblatt, negotiations are to be held with an investor, and a capital injection from the owning family is also an option. A company spokesman confirmed that there are corresponding considerations.
The group of companies has already hired consultants who are working on problem solving. Among others, the Munich management consultancy Wieselhuber & Partner was commissioned. “In order to analyze and evaluate the current market situation with increased construction costs, delivery bottlenecks and, in particular, short-term interest rates in the overall context, and to position ourselves to be crisis-proof, we are talking to selected consultants,” said the Interboden spokesman. Wieselhuber is one of them.
