The Second Brigade of the National Army, together with its battalions, reported that it is carrying out the ‘Safe Travel’ campaign.
This seeks to promote security and tranquility for families who wish to enjoy the tourist landscapes of the Caribbean, in the departments of Atlántico and Magdalena, during the New Year’s Eve and holiday season.
There are nearly 500 men and women who will be located on the different main, secondary and tertiary roads of the region, ensuring the tranquility of the tourists who will be traveling.
“Likewise, checkpoints will be available in coordination with the National Police and the Military Gaula, in order to carry out work to enhance the security of travelers passing through the municipalities of Atlántico and Magdalena,” said the Second Brigade in a statement.
