Through the fourth assembly of the T-MEC Free Commerce Feethe representatives of Mexico, EU y Canada agreed to assessment non-market insurance policies and practices of different nations, which undermine the North American Free Commerce Settlementwhich harms Mexican, American and Canadian staff, together with the automotive sector, amongst different sectors.
The assembly was attended by Mexico’s Secretary of Financial system, Raquel Buenrostro, the commerce consultant of ME, Katherine Taiand the Canadian Minister of Export Promotion and Worldwide Commerce of Canada, Mary Ng.
Through the assembly, the ministers reviewed ongoing work to strengthen trilateral cooperation underneath the Treaty. The ministers took notice of the readings of the Working Group for Cooperation in Agricultural Biotechnology and the Commerce Affairs Committees on Textiles and Attire, Technical Boundaries to Commerce, Good Regulatory Practices, State-Owned Enterprises and Designated Monopolies, and Small and Medium companies.
Additionally they took inventory of trilateral cooperation associated to the Annexes on inclusive commerce and the surroundings, competitiveness of America.
