The governor Tere Jiménez He pointed out that the Labor Reform in Mexico aims at fairer labour relations in which the dignity of each worker is respected and valued.

Opening the colloquium “The T-MEC and its impact on the new labor justice model” that took place in Aguascalientes with the participation of representatives from the Embassies of the United States and Canada, the governor said that this issue is a priority, given the importance of having an updated, modern and efficient regulatory framework.

He stressed the importance of this type of meeting, which allows for dialogue and the exchange of ideas that are crucial for the development and implementation of a fair and efficient labour policy.

He thanked the presence of the Embassies of United States and Canada“Their participation reflects the shared commitment between our countries to work together to improve trade and labour relations and to create a more fair and equitable working environment for all,” he said.

For its part, Tey Wendolyn Retana Alarconhead of the Liaison Unit for the Reform of the Labor Justice System in Mexico, said that this new model seeks to strengthen the protection of workers’ rights and improve access to labor justice, for which significant progress has already been made.
