In the event that they do not agree and none of the proposals sent to the Senate achieves a qualified majority, then the Law empowers the Executive to directly appoint ministers.
On the other hand, he pointed out that the reform proposes a selection process so that “those who have a good public reputation, who are honest and who have the knowledge to be judges, magistrates or ministers of the Supreme Court must remain.”
The future president stressed the importance of the fact that currently “the president is democratically elected, deputies and senators are democratically elected and now judges, ministers and magistrates of the Judicial Branch will be democratically elected.”
In the 10-minute message published on her social media, Sheinbaum Pardo also explained what the supermajority of legislators of the so-called Fourth Transformation will serve.

“The law and the Constitution were followed exactly, that is, there was no overrepresentation, but rather they simply applied what the Constitution says, which is why the magistrates of the Electoral Tribunal must be recognized, because they were under pressure to prevent this from happening,” he emphasized.
