“dramatic statement”? Trump launched NFT collection

According to data from the OpenSea website, all 45,000 Trump cards were sold within 24 hours of launch. Since each card cost $99, this means that the creators of the cards made $4.45 million in one day. However, the NFT INT company clarified that Trump himself is not behind the production of the cards – but only approved the use of his name and likeness for the collection. As a result, it said the profits would not go to Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

And what will those who bought Trump’s cards do? At this point, it seems that many of them will try to use their NFTs to make more money. In the hours after the official sale of the collection ended, it was reported that many of the digital cards were put up for sale on secondary NFT markets – being offered for sale for amounts up to $650, more than 6 times the original price. One of the sellers offered the card of Trump standing next to the Statue of Liberty – for $24,000.
