The Head of the Center for Foreign Affairs and Migrants at the Ministry of the Interior of Iran, Nader Yar Ahmadi, announced that approximately 3 million illegal foreigners have been deported over the past three years.

Ahmadi said: “Due to the difficult conditions that prevailed in Afghanistan these people came back to the country, but with a firm follow-up by the police forces, we will see the expulsion of these foreigners from the country.”
The head of the center “divided the immigrants into two categories. The first category is related to legal immigrants, and includes about 700 specialized Afghan doctors working in hospitals.”
He added, “The biggest problem is related to the second category of foreigners, that is the entry of individuals due to the combat conditions in Afghanistan, because Iran could not remain indifferent to the situation of these people, but they were supposed to leave the country in a short period of time.”
