This Sunday, June 25, the National Risk Management System of Venezuela alerted that a plane that took off from Curacao bound for the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia, disappeared from radar while flying over Venezuelan territory.
According to the authorities, the aircraft that was traveling without passengers is a twin-engine Barón 58, Beechcraft, with Salvadoran registration YS751T. The alert was sent at the time the plane lost contact with the control tower of the Simón Bolívar International Airport, the country’s main air terminal, located in Caracas.
For this reason, the Vice Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, César Pérez Ampueda, informed through his Twitter account that the national system “monitors” the situation and that the last contact with the aircraft was 21.7 miles away. the city of Barquisimeto, capital of the state of Lara.
