According to the authorities, the aircraft that was traveling without passengers is a twin-engine Barón 58, Beechcraft, with Salvadoran registration YS751T. The alert was sent at the time the plane lost contact with the control tower of the Simón Bolívar International Airport, the country’s main air terminal, located in Caracas.
