With the film by Andrei Sviangintsev “Loveless” (Loveless, 2017) continues on Sunday 27 and Monday 27 November the tribute to European Cinema, presented by the artistic Association “Exauda”, in its small theater (Kountouriotou 31), this season .
Andrei Zvyagintsev crafts an amazing family thriller that depicts the troubled life of a modern family living in Moscow, with the couple in extreme tension with each other and the twelve-year-old son disappearing.
At its core, Loveless is a film about love. But beware: it doesn’t approach love as a feeling as much as a relationship. A relationship that is necessarily placed within the spectrum of presence and absence.
Screenings start at 8.15pm. Financial aid 2 euros.
In the following weeks, the films of Christian Mungiu “4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days” (4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days) will be shown on Sunday 3 and Monday 4 December, Ken Loach’s “Sorry we missed” you) on Sunday 10 and Monday 11 December and Matteo Garrone’s “Dogman” on Sunday 17 and Monday 18 December.
