Electoral progress of the new coalition will certainly take place and it will be with wider steps, the head of SINPI is convinced

There is already a large left coalition of 16 parties, from next week there may be 20. Since 2015, there has not been such a large left format. We will take part in the elections as “BSP – united left”. Kaloyan Pargov, who is a member of the National Council of the BSP and head of SINPI, said this to Nova TV.

“Today, the signatures of the various parties were not symbolically put by the old faces we know – Georgi Parvanov, Rumen Petkov, Tanya Doncheva, but by their younger representatives. Each party will decide who will be its representative in one or another list,” commented Pargov. And he expressed his satisfaction that, regarding the places in the lists, everyone has publicly declared that they will give up the ego and the self in the name of something bigger – Bulgaria and its salvation. “The left coalition can give a new look to a new Bulgaria, different from what we are currently observing,” he is convinced.

The BSP and the left parties are aware that trust is hard to win and easy to lose. That the road is hard and thorny. And that in this situation there is no way for the left to suddenly return to the top, explained the former head of the socialists in Sofia.

Nevertheless, Pargov expressed his conviction that there must be progress and that it will be with wider steps. “We can mention any number of percentages and mandates. And having 30 mandates, as one of the representatives of the left coalition said, would still be much better. Let’s do something for the left together, because without the left, without its center in the face of the BSP, democracy in the true sense of the word does not and cannot exist in Bulgaria,” he said.

The socialist also focused on the court cases in the BSP. “With this decision of the court that Atanas Zafirov will represent the BSP before the CEC, the question of who will represent the BSP is already closed. If someone is a little ashamed and has a little morals, honor and dignity, he will stop fighting to appeal to a more high instance and will let the party continue to develop. This is also important for the local elections in which the BSP will participate. After the CEC rejected the participation of the BSP in the partial elections, the media wrote that the result was one of zero for Ninova, after today’s court decision, the match is now two to one for Zafirov,” Kaloyan Pargov was categorical.
