Witness.. “a specialist” reveals the number of cases of foot amputation annually in the Kingdom due to diabetes.. and explains the correct way to examine the feet

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Abdullah Arabi, a specialist in foot and ankle medicine, revealed the annual number of cases of foot amputation due to diabetes in the Kingdom.

He said during a video clip: “The number of foot amputations annually in the Kingdom is 6,000,” noting that 85% of these cases can be prevented by going to the nearest diabetes center to conduct a periodic examination of the feet.

He pointed out that an appointment application can be used to find the location of the nearest sugar-examination center.
