The shock defeat by Aston Villa at the “Emirates” and the exclusion from Bayern in the Champions League shook Arsenal who reacted at “Molineux”!
Mikel Arteta’s side beat Wolves 1-0 in matchday 34 of the Premier League to move top of the table with a game more than trailing Manchester City and Liverpool.
Arsenal came out on top and threw the ball at Manchester City.
The game didn’t have many good moments, with the first of them coming in the 20th minute when an unmarked Rice sent the ball wide. Ten minutes later Wolves “touched” the goal, but Raya with the help of the crossbar saved his team from Gomer’s shot. Finally, in the 45th minute, Trosar, with a terrific shot from an assist by Jesus, sent the ball into the net for 0-1.
In the second half things were even worse as there were practically no chances. Wolves wanted to, but couldn’t, while Arsenal came out many times with good conditions in the area. Her best moments were in stoppage time with two shots from Saka and Martinelli, with Odegaard in the fifth minute of stoppage time finally being the one who scored for 0-2 from close range and ended the match.
