British Ruby (23) has had her lips filled for years and loves that fuller, voluminous look. But in 2020, the fillers started to “migrate” to other parts of her lips, so they had to come out so Ruby could start over. But during that procedure, her mouth, cheeks and jaw suddenly started to swell painfully. She ended up in the emergency room with a severe allergic reaction and was given medication for the swelling. “In the end it took two weeks to go,” said Ruby, who is only now sharing her story on TikTok, where the video of her lips has been viewed millions of times and she was soon dubbed ‘Donald Duck’ by viewers. “For now, I’m staying far away from fillers.”
