An optician in Gothenburg was a victim of two burglaries in a week where exclusive sunglasses worth almost half a million kroner were lost. A woman in her 60s has been sentenced for aggravated theft as she was found carrying the stolen goods around town. The woman claimed that she was going to hand over the items to the police, but she was caught before doing so. The incident has caused a lot of concern among the local community.

Now a woman in her 60s is being sentenced for aggravated theft, after carrying the stolen goods around town.
– I was about to hand the things over to the police, but I was just going in to get a haircut first, she said in connection with the arrest.
