Woman Murdered After Visiting Boyfriend in Jail
A woman tragically lost her life after visiting her boyfriend in jail. The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 6th, when journalist Carlos Jiménez reported a woman being murdered after leaving Reclusorio Oriente, where her boyfriend is currently detained.
According to Jiménez, the victim, identified as Adelina Molina, was walking on Reforma Avenue when she was intercepted by armed men who opened fire, leaving her with over 10 gunshot wounds. The attackers fled the scene, leaving the victim lying lifeless on the pavement.
Local residents alerted authorities, and emergency services confirmed the woman’s death. Paramedics estimated her age to be around 35. The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City is investigating the case, classifying the incident as a femicide.
It was revealed that the victim’s partner was a member of the notorious El 20 gang.
