Unnao: In UP’s Unnao district, a young man entered a neighbour’s house and fired bullets indiscriminately. A woman died in the firing and two people were injured in the attack. The body of the accused was also found lying outside the village. The police reached the spot and took both the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. The incident is said to have taken place on Monday morning.
According to the information, 22-year-old Anurag, a resident of Godian Kheda village, entered the house of Puttilal, a neighbour, around 4 am on Monday and opened fire on the people sleeping on the roof. Due to this, Puttilal’s wife died. His two daughters were injured in the attack, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The accused shot himself dead
On the other hand, after the shootout, the body of the accused youth Anurag was found lying outside the village. On receiving the information, police officers reached the spot. Along with investigating the scene of the incident, the body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
The accused was out on bail
It is being told that in 2023, a person resident of Godian Kheda village had filed a rape case against the accused youth Anurag. After the case was registered, the police sent the accused youth Anurag to jail. On February 1, the accused youth came out of jail on bail. He carried out this horrific incident. ASP Premchandra said that two people including the accused youth have died in the incident. The people injured in the incident have been referred to Kanpur for treatment. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated.
