Women enter without properly wearing hijah. This causes women to be seen by other men. This is the reason for the ban. Men and women behave in restaurants like in parks. There is only the name restaurant. This cannot be allowed. Aziz Rahman Muhammad, the provincial authority said.

Women face severe discrimination under the Taliban regime. Girls are banned from schools after 6th standard. In some provinces, the Taliban regime has banned girls from entering schools, gymnasiums and parks. Women are already banned from public spaces in Afghanistan. Schools in Afghanistan opened on March 23, but the secondary section for girls has been closed indefinitely.
