RIYADH: Two hundred and fifty five women in the special force for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage security. The women cadets of the security forces completed their training for the pilgrimage last day. The graduation ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Interior Minister Amir Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif. Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al Bassai performed the bidudanam. The fourth batch of women in the armed forces is now being released for diplomatic security and Hajj and Umrah security. The women cadets are trained by the Women’s Training Institute of the Armed Forces.
In 2019, the armed forces for the first time recruited women for various categories. It has been decided to appoint women to the Saudi Arabian Army, Royal Saudi Air Defence, Royal Saudi Navy and Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force medical services.
