Women, key links in the census operation in Khénifra

by times news cr

A key part of the RGPH, the women involved in the operation of collecting data from households, demonstrate unprecedented leadership which is reflected in the field by their positive and fluid interaction with citizens.

Investigators, controllers, and supervisors, the female census staff fight day and night to successfully complete this important deadline and honor their commitment in addition to living up to this ten-yearly meeting which will serve as a basis for future public policies and sectoral and socio-economic strategies.

Proof of this is Hafsa Benkhattab, a student in Khénifra, who chose, out of love for her country, to be one of the census investigators.

Once outside her house, Hafsa, 22 years old and a master’s student in logistics engineering, puts on her inspector’s hat, driven by boundless enthusiasm and armed with a strong will.

She knocks on the right door. A first “Maytaanite” +how are you” in Amazigh, and time for the famous question-and-answer game, which seems to please the Zayani interviewees who answered with open hearts and great spontaneity.

After completing the training stages and the recognition of her district, Hafsa said she wanted to commit herself wholeheartedly to her mission which will allow her to refine her practical knowledge regarding communication and mastery of development issues.

In a statement to MAP, Hafsa emphasizes that she did not hesitate for a second to fulfill this noble national duty. For her, it is about moving the lines and demonstrating how much Moroccan women can effectively contribute to the success of the nation’s major projects.

“The atmosphere is patriotic par excellence. We have not encountered any problems during our mission. The inhabitants of Khenifra have welcomed us well and the operation is taking place in a climate of global mobilization and active support from all components of society,” she said.

The Moroccan woman is at the helm of the company. She is active in all areas and she will also prove herself in this operation, she said.

Indeed, the census operation in the province of Khénifra has recorded a significant rate of progress, particularly in the mountainous areas, thanks to the significant commitment of census personnel supported by a large number of agents and auxiliaries of the authority who lend them a hand.

Some 3,602 people are mobilized in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region, including 2,693 investigators who are crisscrossing 135 municipalities using 524 vehicles.

the RGPH 2024, which will be based on a double questionnaire to collect data from households, is carried out via a computer application.

This application was developed by HCP executives and installed on tablets, including the boundaries of the districts and routes that investigators must follow at the time of the census, the questionnaires and the rules of consistency and validity of the data collected, thus facilitating the use of the information collected on site before their transfer, in real time, to the data management center.
