The women’s national team broke South Korean resistance in the 18th minute when Joana Marchão made it 1-0. Until half-time, the «Navigators» scored three more goals through Telma Encarnação (18m), Andreia Faria (45m) and Jéssica Silva (45+2).
Portugal reached the rout thanks to a new goal from Jéssica Silva, in the 52nd minute. The best South Korea managed was to reduce the score ten minutes from the end through Hwa-Yeon Son.
The Portuguese team completed a training camp at Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras, which included two games, having defeated the Czech Republic in the first (3-1) and this Tuesday South Korea (5-1), matches included in the preparation for the qualifying phase for the 2025 European Championship.
