Women’s Premier League: Mumbai-Delhi Final; Hat trick for EC Wong

Navi Mumbai: The mighty Mumbai Indians in the final of the Women’s Premier League Cricket. In the eliminator battle, EC Wong’s hat-trick helped Mumbai to defeat UP Warriors by 72 runs.

Mumbai will face Delhi Capitals in the final at the Brabourne Stadium on Sunday. Batting first after losing the toss, Mumbai Indians scored 182 runs for four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. UP Warriors could only score 110 runs in 17.4 overs. England player Nat Siver Brent not out with 72 runs to strengthen Mumbai. Nat’s innings consisted of nine fours and two sixes in 38 balls.

Amelia Kerr scored 29 runs and Hayley Matthews scored 26 runs. UP’s top scorer is Kiran Navgire who scored 43 runs. In the 13th over, Izzy Wong took a hat-trick by dismissing Kiran, Simran Sheikh (nil) and Sophie Ecclestone (nil).
