In reply, Pakistan also got off to a bad start. Sidra Amin (12) and Bisma Maroof (0) were the other notable contributors as Nahida Khan (40), Omaima Suhail (65) and Nida Dar (55) shone for Pakistan. Alia Riyaz (0) and Fatima Sana (9) returned quickly. Nida Dar was dismissed in the 49th over. Pakistan’s target was 10 in the last over. Shabnim Ismail, however, sent Diana Baig (13) back in the second ball of the over to give South Africa the victory.
South Africa, who have won two of their last two matches, are third in the points table, while Pakistan, who have lost three of their last three matches, are bottom of the table.
