The main women’s team ended the semester with great results in June. Ranked for the semifinals of the Brasileirão and the G-4 of Paulista, Tricolor concluded the first stage of the season with the best numbers of the year achieved in the last month.
In the last match of the sixth month of 2023, the São Paulo team won a comeback victory over Palmeiras and ended June undefeated, with six wins in seven matches played. In addition to the important results, the team scored twenty-three times and conceded only four goals.
In the sum of the numbers for the year so far, Thiago Viana’s team ended the semester with 14 wins, five draws and six defeats. In all, there were 54 goals scored and 20 conceded.
After the break for the Women’s World Cup, Tricolor returns to play at the end of August, when they face Ferroviária, in home and away games, in search of a place in the Brazilian final. For Paulista, the team wants to finish the first phase among the top four.
