News from Angola – Eight teams, in the women’s category, will compete, for the first time, in the “Gira Tigra” beach football tournament that starts on October 20th, in Luanda, the organization of the project announced this Thursday during the holding the draw for the Fifth Edition of the men’s race.

The eight women’s teams will be divided into two groups, while the men’s class is expected to have 16 teams, divided into four groups, but so far, only 12 teams have been drawn and divided into three groups out of four.

According to the organization of the event, collectively, 750,000 kwanzas will be the prize for the first place winner, 400,000 will be awarded to the second, the third will collect 150,000 and the fourth will receive 70,000. Individually, without revealing the amount, the winners will be awarded. best player of the tournament, goalkeeper, as well as whoever scores the most goals.

The Núcleo da ANFA and Marítimo Futebol Clube teams, present in Group A, will open the men’s competition on Friday, the 20th, and the ladies will kick off on Saturday, the 21st.

The draw also pointed to Vitalício de Viana and Santo Rosa in the same group. In Group B, Corinthians FC, Novo México, Dom Bello FC and União da Salga FC are included. Meanwhile, in Group C is the winner of the last edition (2022) Zanga FC, together with Vida Pesca, Luz do Mundo FC and API FC.
