The final of the Australia-England Women’s Cricket World Cup kicks off tomorrow (Sunday) at 6.30am Indian time in Christchurch. GS Lakshmi from India has been appointed as the match referee for the final.

GS Lakshmi from Andhra Pradesh is proud to be the first woman to be named in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Match Refereeing Board. He has already done the same job in the men’s one-day tournament. Lauren Akenbach (South Africa), Kim Cotton (New Zealand) as referees and Jacqueline Williams (West Indies) as TV referees.
