Defending champions England have qualified for the final of the Women’s Cricket World Cup after beating South Africa.

The number of overs was reduced to 45 as the match started late due to rain. West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first. Australia scored 305 for 3 in 45 overs.
Following this, the West Indies were bowled out for 148 in 37 overs with a challenging target of 306 to win. The Australian team won the semi-final and qualified for the final. This was followed by the 2nd semi-final today.

South Africa were bowled out for 156. Defending champions England, who have won the trophy four times, will face six-time champions Australia in the final on March 3.
