by time news

Wayanad is a land of farmers. The dreams of life grow in the sweat they shed on the soil. ‘Vonnue’ has opened the door of the IT world to Wayanad, which is full of fresh air, water and beautiful scenery. This software company is located in Dottapankulam near Sultan Bathery on the national highway.

This IT company was born by drawing energy from the atmosphere of Wayanad, where there are no big industries or companies. Many people come here from IT cities like Bengaluru and Kochi to enjoy their breaks.

A good percentage of the tourists are IT professionals. A place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and relax your mind amidst the hustle and bustle of work. Hills, mountains, fog, forests, jungles and living things give them great energy.

IT is not impossible in Wayanad

What if a software company came here? Everyone is of the opinion that there is no possibility of that in Wayanad, which does not even have a city to speak of. However, some young people have proved that it is not. The company here is able to perform as well as IT companies in busy cities, maybe a notch higher. Because the mind-blowing views and fresh air have proven to be worth it.

Only the letter V is placed in the logo. So they can easily be called ‘V’. Previously was in Kochi. It has been more than a year since the establishment moved here. The company started with 20 employees and now employs more than 60 people.

Allan Rinroll, Alvy Kent from Bateri, Nikesh from Vaikom, C.V. from Ponnani. The founders are Rajish. Alan is the CEO and Alvy is the Chief Business Officer. They came to Wayanad for the experiment by avoiding the attractive salary in the IT sector in foreign countries.

The goal is to grow the company while molding new software engineers. There are signs of success in this regard. They have stories to tell of how people from rural areas with no technical knowledge were trained in the company and turned into great IT professionals.

This is evidenced by the fact that the number of employees has gone up to 60 in a short period of time. Company bosses say that the time when 1000 employees are working is not far. Dedicated people can join V software company. Educational qualifications come second.

By touching nature

The company is progressing in Wayanad in harmony with nature. The big difference is that there is no AC inside the company where more than 60 people are sitting. However, all the employees get the impression of sitting and working under the shade of a banyan tree.

While the average air pollution level is 170 in Bengaluru, 89 in Kochi, 200-300 in Delhi, it is less than 50 in Wayanad Bateri. The advancement of the company is to make maximum use of this favorable factor.

The process of bringing the natural air of Wayanad into the walls takes place here. With more than 60 computers running simultaneously, there must be a lot of heat inside. However, it is possible to create an atmosphere of tree shade here.

The electricity system is also special. Electricity is solar. The facility is generating more solar power than it needs. Unlike other IT companies in Kerala, a gymnasium has also been prepared in the institution.

Engineers can exercise here during work breaks. There is also a turf court attached to the gymnasium. Flowering plants are grown in front of this. If you want to reduce the stress of work, you can take care of the plants. Even though it is inside the building, the same light as sunlight reaches the plants. This is done through solar system.

Buy land and farm

The company also arranges accommodation for remote employees and also arranges for them to have their own farm. Two and a half acres of land was bought for this purpose. A laborer was also hired for gardening. Cultivation of melons and pulses started there. The aim is to produce all the things that can be found in a vegetable shop on this farmland.

Clients in ten countries

Sitting on the fourth floor of a four-storied building in Dottapankulam, engineers interact with customers from countries such as the US, Germany, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Netherlands, Israel, Mexico, Poland, and Malaysia. They have tie-ups with major satellite companies in the world. The V team said that more countries will cooperate in software development.

IT Campus Target

The V team’s next target is an IT campus like the ones in Kochi and others. The initial steps will begin within a year. Once this campus becomes a reality, small IT companies in the district will be able to collaborate with V. Smaller companies are likely to come more as the campus comes up.

Internet access, which costs a lot of money, is difficult for small IT companies to afford. V is ready to share the internet in this situation. Gymnasiums and turf courts can also be useful for smaller companies.

“Man’s thought should not be only to make money. It is our duty to think differently and do something better for the society. The company was established in Wayanad as part of a different thinking.

There are many people here who have failed in higher education because the circumstances did not allow it. We will reach among them. IT is a wide world. Only those who think differently can climb its steps. That’s what we’re trying to do,” said Alvin Rinroll, CEO of V.
