DIG/ THE AGENCY executing the activities of the Forest-Wood sector (AEAFFB) held its first board meeting of 2023 on June 16, 2023.

The meeting chaired by Jean Félix Mouloungui (PCA) worked on several points. In particular the activity and financial reports for the 2022 financial year, the execution of subsidies in 2022 and the provisional budget for the current year.

AEAFFB Managing Director, David Ingueza, briefed Trustees on the activities being carried out in 2022.

After examination of the said lines, the administrators gave a certain number of orientations, before issuing a positive discharge to the general management of the AEAFFB for the 2022 financial year. The continuation of the technical activities started in 2023 also received their approval, subject to the roadmap for the next semester.

“The agency, financially, is doing more or less well.

As part of the empowerment that we have put in place, we need, for operation, a little more than 500 million FCFA per year.

Today, the government grants us 250 million FCFA. But thanks to the empowerment process, we generated 220 million FCFA.

I therefore remain confident with my team of experts and young people who work daily for the optimal functioning of the AEAFFB”, he indicated.
