The function of awarding work orders for building houses to the beneficiaries was held yesterday at Ramanantham Gandhinagar.
Mangalore Union Chairman Sukhuna Shankar presided over and gave the work orders to the beneficiaries. Thitakkudi Tahsildar Ravichandran, PTO, Sivagrunathan, Murugan, Ramanatham Panchayat President Chellamuthu were present.
The people of the area demanded that a part-time ration shop and potable water should be provided.
Union Chairman Sukhunashankar assured to take appropriate action.
