A laborer named Touhidul Islam Touhid died after falling from a school building under construction in Atpara, Netrokona.
The incident took place on Friday (December 29) around 10:30 am in Swaramushia area of the upazila. Mohanganj upazila of Touhid district of Barttakona village. Jahangir’s son.
According to the police, Touhid worked as a mason’s assistant. Tauhid was working in an under-construction school building at Swaramushia in Atpara of the district. In the morning, he slipped and fell down from the second floor. Later, when he was rushed to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Atpara Police Station. Tawhidur Rahman said the body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy. No one has complained yet from the family. Action will be taken if complaints are received.
