I believe that, for successful business development, there must be conditions and an opportunity for an equal partnership with the institutions,” said Minister of Tourism Zaritsa Dinkova during a working meeting with Gerald Kasner, owner of the German tour operator Schauinsland-Reisen. “It is very important that Bulgarian tourism receives support, because the quality you offer is much greater than what people assume. We, the tour operators, will do our best to ensure that tourists return to Bulgaria. The quality of your service is growing and you are doing a great job,” Kasner said.
Minister Dinkova emphasized that the more effective the work between the government sector and business, the greater the success of any partnership. As proof of this, Minister Dinkova also pointed to the results that the advertising program of the Black Sea municipalities gives at this stage. “We already have 70% more early bookings from UK tourists for the upcoming summer season. We have data from the German operators that once again thanks to the program they are seeing a 20% increase in early bookings for vacations in Bulgaria,” said the Minister of Tourism.
