For this purpose, the DKI Jakarta DPRD conducted a working visit (Kunker) to Washington DC, United States (US) last week.

The working visit was also to follow up on the grant from the United States government to PT MRT, the manager of MRT Jakarta.

The Regionally-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) received a grant worth US$ 709,630 or equivalent to Rp. 10 billion for a feasibility study of the proposed renewable energy initiative from the US government through the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).

However, the implementation of MRTJ and USTDA initiated a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain capable consultants to carry out this study in 2023.

The DKI Jakarta DPRD under the leadership of Prasetyo Edi Marsudi has fully supported efforts to resolve Jakarta’s traffic congestion problems.
