Ahmedabad: “India’s goal is to win the World Cup,” said Hardik Pandya.
Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat (133/3, 18.1 overs) beat Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan (130/9, 20 overs) by 7 wickets in the final of the T20 Cricket League at the world’s largest Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Gujarat won the trophy in the first series of the inaugural series for Rs. 20 crore prize money was given.
This put Hardik Pandya on the team that won the IPL trophy for the fifth time. Prior to this, he was part of the Mumbai team that won the trophy four times (2015, 17, 19, 20). He has played in 11 Tests, 63 ODIs and 54 international T20Is so far, reaching the ICC Series One Final (2017 Champions Trophy), two semi-finals (2016 T20I, 2019 Over 50 World Cup) Is playing. But the Indian team in which he played has never won a trophy.

‘No’ to Rohit, Kohli
Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has been named in the ‘Eleven’ squad for the 15th season of the T20 Cricket League. Rajasthan’s Butler (863) and Lucknow captain Lokesh Rahul (616) were the top scorers in the list. Indian cricket legend Gavaskar says, “Hardik Pandya’s captaincy is like that of Dhoni. I think he has learned a lot from him. Pandya sees Dhoni as a brother and a hero. Enthusiastic welcome
