The World Cup sniper competition is taking place in Cairo, Egypt. In this, the Indian team is performing better.

In the women’s 25m pistol event today, India’s Rahi Sarnopath, Isha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan won gold. In the final round, they defeated Singapore 17-13. This brings India’s gold medal tally to three.

Earlier, India’s Sriyanga Satangi and Akhil Shioran won bronze in the 50m Rifle 3 level mixed doubles event. India did not qualify for the medal round in the men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol category.

India currently ranks 2nd in the medal list. The competitions for the last two medals take place tomorrow. India is expected to win gold in the competition and move up to the top of the medal list.
