A smooth six and a half hour flight aboard an Airbus A321. The Blues, who took off Wednesday morning at 10:45 a.m. from Le Bourget, landed at 7:21 p.m. sharp (5:21 p.m. in France), Wednesday, in Doha, Qatar, where they will begin the defense of their world champion title on Tuesday against the Australia.
The tricolor delegation, which was expected by a hundred supporters in front of its hotel, then returned to its base camp after completing customs formalities. A stretching session was scheduled before the first dinner.
Kolo Muani will arrive on Thursday
The only player missing is the last called up Randal Kolo Muani, who is due to join the squad early Thursday morning. Currently on tour in Japan with his Frankfurt club, he was called up to replace Christopher Nkunku, who was injured on Tuesday during the last training session at Clairefontaine.
