In an interview with Emirates News Agency (WAM), Ahmed Gamal, Head of Business Development for Nvidia AI Solutions at Advanced Integration, highlighted the importance of the AI-based VGLNT tool launched in the Emirates United Arabs before the GMC. “ This tool aims to improve the accuracy of information and combat misinformation,” he declared.
Highlighting the importance of GMC as a platform for sharing innovative solutions like VGLNT, crucial in the age of social media. Forums like this, he added, are in line with the UAE’s commitment to providing innovative technical solutions to address the challenges of modern media and strengthen journalism.
Adding to this point, Dr Mohammad Ayesh, from the American University of Sharjah, highlighted the profound impact of AI on the media industry and its relevance for communication education.
