HALLY: World number one Dan Dan Medvedev of Russia lost in the final of the Halley Open tennis tournament. Fifth seed Hubert Herbert Harkoks of Poland defeated Medvedev in the final.
Hercules defeated Medvedev in straight sets. Score: 6-1, 6-4. This is the first title Harcoque has ever won on the court. The match lasted just 63 minutes.
With this victory, Hercules placed in the top ten in the world rankings. The player is currently ranked 10th. Harcox has 3738 points. Despite the defeat, Medvedev remains at the top of the rankings. He has 8160 points.
Alexander Sverrev of Germany is second and Novak Djokovic of Serbia is third. Spain legend Rafael Nadal is fourth. French Open finalist Caspar Rudd remains in fifth place.
