World Test Championship – Pakistan’s chances end with defeat.

England win the first match of the Test series against Pakistan. Chasing a target of 343 runs, Pakistan were bowled out for 268 runs in the last session.

Ben Stokes’ decision to declare early in the second innings led England to victory. In the second innings, England scored 264 runs in 36 overs.

This series is part of the Test Championship. England won the match but the positions did not change. England is seventh and Pakistan is fifth. With this defeat, Pakistan’s chances of entering the World Test Championship became difficult.
