World’s First Hydrogen Train Service: Starts in Dinamani – Dinamani

The world’s first hydrogen fueled train service was launched in Jomani on Wednesday.

With 14 hydrogen trains provided to the province of Lower Saxony, 100 km connecting 4 nodes. This service is provided by rail.

The diesel trains used so far will be replaced by hydrogen trains that emit absolutely no greenhouse gases.

Officials said that this train project, which has been started at a cost of 9.3 crore Euros (about Rs. 737 crores), will prevent 4,400 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being mixed in the air every year.
