Turkish Medical Association announced that the applications for “Good Conduct Certificate” received by healthcare professionals to go abroad exceeded the 300 barrier in August and reached 315, and the number of “Good Conduct Certificate” applications received in the first 8 months of 2023 reached 1,964.

The increase in the number of people applying for a good conduct certificate in the last 10 years indicates that more and more doctors are migrating.
In 2012, only 59 physicians applied for a good conduct certificate. In 2013, 90 physicians, 118 physicians in 2014, and 245 physicians in 2016 requested a certificate of good conduct.
Applications have increased rapidly since 2017. 482 physicians requested the document in question in 2017, 802 in 2018, 1057 in 2019, 931 in 2020, and 1,405 in 2021. “Last year, 1,341 of those who applied for the certificate were general practitioners and 1,344 were specialist physicians.” (yenivatan.at)
