Islamabad: Maharaj Paramhans G died in 1919 in the village of Teri in the Karak district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There is a temple here for the famous him. The temple was demolished in the year 2020 by the religious organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Baswin.
Under these circumstances, the temple was renovated and worship was conducted last Saturday. It was attended by 200 devotees from India, 15 from Dubai and devotees from the United States and Gulf countries. They were escorted across the Wagah border to the temple under the protection of armed guards.
Ruling party MLA Ramesh Kumar Wankwani said, “The government of Pakistan is promoting worship. The presence of Hindu devotees from India can strengthen the relationship between the two countries, ”he said.
