Riyadh: Sheikh Badr Al-Farih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Haram Affairs, has announced that the registration for the ‘bhajan’ (Itikaf) at the Holy Mosque in Makkah will be valid from the 1st to the 5th of Ramadan. Itikaf registration can be done through the Al-Harameen app and the Department of Haram Affairs website.
In addition, itikaf can be registered through a special counter set up in front of the King Abdullah Gate (No. 119) in the west courtyard of the Haram. Those who sit in the Itikaf in the Haram should cooperate with the Haram staff and refrain from violating the law. In addition, the terms and conditions related to Itikaf should be respected. Sheikh Badr Al-Farih said that the Department of Haram Affairs would not be responsible for the loss of property belonging to the Itikaf occupants. During the last ten days of Ramadan, the Department of Haram Affairs will provide facilities for the believers to sit for Itikaf in the Holy Haram.
