Wrestlers and female wrestlers staged a series of protests at Delhi’s Jandar Mantar, accusing Indian Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Charan Singh of sexual harassment. Brij Bhushan Charan Singh is also a BJP MP. They wanted to remove him from that position and insisted that the current wrestling organization should be dissolved and a new federation should be formed.

In this regard, while no solution was reached in the first round of negotiations with Union Sports Minister Anurag Tagore, the protest was abandoned as a solution was reached during the second round of negotiations.
