The wrestling empire WWE experienced its first highlight of the year last night. The Tampa Bay Rays’ MLB Stadium hosted the 2024 Royal Rumble and gave fans a finale of historic significance. At this turn of the century, a title defense in the 30-man battle took place for the first time since 1998. Cody Rhodes secured a spot in the main event of the impressive WrestleMania 40 event by ultimately eliminating returning CM Punk.

WWE Royal Rumble 2024 takes place in the USA on Saturday night instead of. However, due to the time difference, fans in Germany have to wait until late at night. In this country, the wrestling event only begins at night from Saturday to Sunday at 2:00 a.m. The kickoff show begins an hour before the start. The show will take place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
WWE Royal Rumble 2024 will only be on the Streaming-Channel and video on demand service WWE Network transmitted. In addition, after the event the Repetition of the show will be available on the platform. For the use of WWE Network a subscription must be taken out. The subscription costs 9.99 US dollars/month (around 9 euros plus taxes). The subscription can be canceled monthly.
Sky the show will no longer be in German TV transmitted. WWE Royal Rumble is not shown on German TV either.
