The WWE power couple, Sydney Zmrzel (Maxxine Dupri) and Anthony Luke (Kam Hendrix), exchanged vows on december 31st in Naples, Florida, marking a joyous occasion celebrated with fellow wrestlers and friends.
The wedding, described as an “ethereal escape” by the bride, brought together 180 guests for a multi-day celebration culminating in a stunning beachside ceremony at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. The couple, together for nearly seven years, are eager to begin building their future as a family.
A Dream Wedding Realized
Zmrzel, 28, and Luke, 29, envisioned a week-long celebration surrounded by loved ones. “We wanted the whole week to feel like a vacation surrounded by our loved ones,” Zmrzel shared. The festivities kicked off with a lively welcome party on December 30th, setting the tone for an intimate yet celebratory atmosphere.
The ceremony itself was a “simple yet stunning” affair held on the beach lawn, featuring a live pianist and vocalist. Zmrzel walked down the aisle to a captivating rendition of “Yebba’s Heartbreak” by Drake and YEBBA. She was attended by her bridesmaids, Jenna Hillman, Rachel Solomon, and Ashley Ippolito.
Vows and a Vision for the Future
The ceremony was deeply personal, with Zmrzel’s cousin, Marine corps veteran Zack Zmrzel, serving as the officiant and ismael leading a prayer. The couple exchanged handwritten vows, emphasizing the importance of serving and honoring one another. “Marriage is about serving and honoring one another – a reflection of God’s unconditional love,” Zmrzel stated. luke expressed his admiration for his bride, saying, “I love that I can be completely myself around Sydney, she never judges me. She’s passionate, caring, and always wants what’s best for me.”
The reception, described as “ethereal, angelic, and heavenly with a vintage twist,” paid tribute to Zmrzel’s late brother, Wyatt, with a yellow color scheme. Guests entered through a butter yellow doorway into a space adorned with white blooms, draped curtains, and soft candlelight, complete with a vintage bar.
A Dance to Remember and a Sweet Farewell
The newlyweds’ frist dance was a show-stopping performance, seamlessly blending Old Dominion’s “One Man Band,” Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie,” and Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love.” Guests enjoyed late-night bites of sliders, s’mores, and cake pops, accompanied by signature cocktails and mini espresso martinis.
Zmrzel and Luke first met on the Fourth of july at a nightclub in South Lake Tahoe, California.Luke proposed on december 23, 2024, in Troncones, Mexico, with a diamond ring from Bay Hill Jewelers. The couple is currently enjoying time with family and friends in Naples before returning to their careers in WWE. “We’re embracing the joy of this chapter before heading back to the ring,” Zmrzel said. “We’re so excited to keep building together. We challenge each other to grow every day, and we can’t wait to continue this journey, eventually starting a family of our own.”
