Xbox games are on the way to GeForce Now

by time news

Nvidia and Microsoft announced last night a ten-year partnership that will bring Xbox games to the GeForce Now cloud gaming service.

The agreement will allow gamers to stream Xbox titles such as Call Of Duty and others to a wide variety of desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, MacOS computers and even smartphones.

“Xbox is committed to giving people more choice and finding ways to expand the choices people play,” said Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer. “We’re excited to offer gamers more ways to play the games they love.”

“The combination of the incredibly rich catalog of Xbox games with the high-performance streaming capabilities of GeForce Now will advance cloud gaming into a mainstream offering that appeals to gamers of all knowledge and experience levels,” said Geoff Fisher, senior vice president of GeForce.

Nvidia and Microsoft will start working on the integration of Xbox games in GeForce Now immediately so that GFN subscribers can also stream PC games they buy in third-party stores such as Steam or Epic Games Store.

The GeForce Now cloud game service today has about 25 million subscribers in 100 countries.
