Xbox proudly announces new initiatives aimed at making video gaming even more inclusive. Indeed, for many years, Xbox has been committed to providing a gaming experience that is accessible to everyone. With these newly unveiled devices, each person will be able to enjoy gaming as they love it. With whom they wish, on the device of their choice, and in the manner that suits them best.
“These innovative options, developed in close collaboration with the Gaming & Disability community as well as nonprofit organizations, include several new items: the Xbox Adaptive Controller, files to 3D print analog stick tips via the Xbox Design Lab, and two new controllers certified Designed for Xbox: the ByoWave Proteus Controller and the 8BitDo Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller.”
- Xbox Adaptive Controller: specially designed for gamers with reduced mobility. It features four buttons on the front, a standard Xbox analog stick, and two additional buttons that replicate the functions of the triggers on a traditional controller. All these buttons are customizable, allowing players to play in the most comfortable way for each individual.
- 3D Printer Files for Analog Stick Tips: The files for 3D printers for the adaptive analog stick tips are now available via the Xbox Design Lab. Players can download the design files to 3D print them if they have a 3D printer or have them printed by a service of their choice.
- 8BitDo Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller, Designed for Xbox: The Lite SE has been specially designed for gamers with reduced mobility. It features low-resistance buttons and very sensitive Hall Effect analog sticks, making gaming more accessible to everyone. All buttons are easily accessible on the top of the controller, and it has a non-slip silicone grip for added stability during play.
- ByoWave Proteus Controller, Designed for Xbox: The Proteus Controller features “snap and play” modular parts and focuses on individual customization. With its modular design, players can adjust the configuration of their controller to fit their unique gaming style, physical needs, and preferences, with over 100 million possible combinations.
